This here is one perspective.
It may not be yours, parts of it will jive with you, or none of it.
regardless, it doesn't matter, cause this is my perspective.
For a moment, as you travel through this fucked up amazing world,
trip on how utterly hard core and bizarre this place is.
It will blow your fucking mind if you let it.
Everything you will see here is only one/tenth of everything there is to see.
Everything you will see here is only one/fifth of everything I saw.
Imagine, just for a second, how much shit there is to see with the above
equation.
It's intense.
The magnitude of shit people do, the depth in which they go, the creativity in
which they produce, the generosity,
matches nothing I have ever come across in my lifetime.
It's a playground. Literally. Anything you come across, you get to play with 99%
of the time.
All time stands still and the only things that matter is hunger, john
activities, this party or the next, drug intake if your into that, dealing with
the elements and sleep. There is so much to do and so much fun doing it. It's
exciting to see what's next, what will happen next, what you will come across
next.
It's all about attitude. You can bitch and complain about things that might rub
you wrong or you can look at it as entertainment. Something for the eyes and
ears to play with. Even if it is grating and not possible to dig the space, you
just move on to another one. It's that simple.
The purpose for me behind burning man is to release my judgments. So when the
guy comes up who built a box around his head with two holes cut out and a sign
that says 'free mammograms place boobs here', the reaction isn't
indignation for his chauvinism, but a laugh at his ingenious attempt to rub up
against some bodacious ta's. It's letting go of judgments and digging
everything. Just for those moments. It's acceptance. It's where joy lives. Only
pain and discomfort live in judgments.
Don't run through the pictures. Look into them. There is so much more than you
will first see.
Now that we got that all straight, come with me, I'm taking
you to Burning Man.
